Bridgeline Consulting Group (BCG) seeks to connect the many partners in Real Estate Marketing and the Development Industry to Prospective Owners while keeping up with the new technologies in the Building Industry to successfully sell affordable and green homes. By keeping focused on capturing and expanding the spectrum of values and criteria in measuring an organizational success toward the Triple Bottom Line (3BL).  This approach of improving Social, Economic, and Environmental performance will improve the corporation’s social and environmental responsibilities and in return improve the bottom-line.

Elena Scott, LEED AP

Elena is a landscape architect and planner, and since starting with Norris Design in 2003, has worked on a broad range of projects in both professional realms. She believes that the success of a project is intimately tied to the planning process and the framework that is created and followed throughout the course of design.

In Elena’s seven years at Norris Design she has worked in many realms as a project manager, site planner, public facilitator and landscape architect. Elena has a broad range of experience in urban and rural communities and with private and public sector clients. Her ability to communicate makes her an effective project manager able to resolve challenges from a technical perspective as well as community related issues, evaluation of alternatives and creating solutions for all projects. In 2008, Elena moved to Summit County, Colorado to direct Norris Design’s mountain region office. Her involvement in mountain and river valley projects has broadened her expertise and experience in planning projects, especially integrating development into sensitive natural environments, affordable housing initiatives and the incorporation of sustainable design practices.

Operations Manager, Innovative Energy

Michelle graduated from the University of Denver in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. She has worked in land conservation and nonprofit management for 8 years and held two executive director positions for small conservation organizations. Michelle has a photovoltaic design certification from Solar Energy International. With her experience in business development and organizational systems, she provides program administration, customer relations, site assessment and sales, and marketing for Innovative Energy in her current position.

Holly Shannon moved from Atlanta to Breckenridge two years ago after graduating from Georgia Tech. She has a BS in Building Construction and currently works for a local home performance contractor. In college, she co-founded “Students Organizing for Sustainability,” a new club hilighting environmental issues relative to the Georgia Tech community. Her hobbies include skiing, running, softball, camping, hiking, and concerts. Holly is very passionate about sustainable building and loves living in a county that promotes the future of our planet.

 

Garratt Hassenstab

Garratt Hasenstab is a Principal with Verdigris Group, a Chicago-based group of real estate-related entities that have established an international reputation for excellence in Green Building Consulting & LEED Certification Management, Sustainable Enterprise Consulting and Real Estate Brokerage Services.

Garratt is a US Green Building Council LEED®-Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design & Construction, and has also earned the USGBC’s designation of LEED for Homes Green Rater thus elevating his development consulting expertise in sustainable development, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Additionally, he holds the role of Director of Sustainability with Verdigris Group’s Sustainable Enterprise Consulting division.

In the years leading up to his current role with Verdigris Group, Garratt developed a comprehensive expertise in property brokerage through years of experience managing transactions across the spectrum of property types including agricultural, commercial/retail, raw land, health care, educational, single-family and condominium residential, and multi-family residential developments.

Additionally, Garratt is active in lending his expertise to benefit the greater community through his efforts in local government and non-profit organizations as well.  Garratt is an appointed Planning Commissioner for the County of Summit, Colorado.  Additionally, Garratt is an active member of the Board of Directors for the High Country Conservations Center in Summit County, Colorado.  He has also served as the Executive Director of the Boulder Green Building Guild.

He holds an MBA with honors from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business Administration, and an MBA emphasis in Sustainability from the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE). He graduated with a BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
